2024 Home Efficiency Rebate (HER)
From June 2024, Enbridge Gas will provide rebates towards eligible retrofits such as home insulation, windows and doors and heat pumps. The new, coordinated Home Efficiency Rebate program will help more Ontarians save energy at home. This is great news for residents across the province which are currently an Enbridge Gas customers who use natural gas to heat their homes or the houses which are waiting to become one and will benefit from enhanced rebates up to $5,000.

Attic Insulation

Heating/cooling account for 60% of your home, attic insulation, can reduce decrease utility bills
The eligible upgrades and the list of required upgrades are as shown below:
Please note that you Get Grants when you install at least one upgrade and validated the criteria
- Minimum of 2 qualifying measures
- Eligible home types include detached home, semi-detached home, row house, townhouse or a mobile home on a permanent foundation – Rentals, primary & non-primary residences allowed, owner and non-owner occupied
- Homes heated primarily with Enbridge NG at time of the Pre-Audit and/or Post-Audit
- Measure Rebates and EnerGuide Audit Rebate available
- Participants would not receive rebates until 2025 with a max. $5,000 rebate cap (inclusive of $600 audit rebate)
– $5,000 max. available regardless of # of re-entries into the offer – $600 audit rebate paid once per premise for offer.
